Our products and sizing

Average Joe sells apparel and accessories, including printed clothing and made-to-order products. Because some items are printed or prepared after purchase, slight variations may occur in print placement, colour appearance, garment fit, fabric texture and screen-to-real-life colour matching.

Please check the size guide before ordering. Because many products are made to order, we may not be able to accept returns for choosing the wrong size unless the item is faulty, incorrectly supplied, or otherwise required under Australian Consumer Law.

Orders

When you place an order, you agree that all information is accurate and complete, you are authorised to use the payment method, and you have checked the product, size, colour, quantity and shipping address before purchasing.

After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. We may cancel or refuse an order if we reasonably believe there is an error, misuse of the website, fraud risk, or breach of these Terms.

Pricing, payment and promotions

All prices are shown in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise. Shipping costs are shown at checkout before payment. We may update prices at any time, but changes will not affect confirmed orders unless there has been an obvious pricing or technical error.

Discount codes must be used before checkout is completed. We may change, pause or end promotions at any time.

Shipping, returns and Australian Consumer Law

Our Shipping Policy and Returns and Refunds Policy form part of these Terms. Delivery dates are estimates only.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. If your item has a major problem, you may be entitled to choose a refund or replacement.

Change-of-mind and faulty items

Because many Average Joe products are made to order, we generally do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, including choosing the wrong size or colour, changing your mind, not liking the fit or style, or ordering the wrong product.

If your item arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, contact us within a reasonable time at info@ajeveryday.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos. Please do not return items without contacting us first.

Product care and safety

Please follow the care instructions on the product label or product page. We are not responsible for damage caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, incorrect washing or drying, ironing over prints, bleaching, alterations or failure to follow care instructions.

If we become aware of a safety issue, recall or compliance concern affecting a product you purchased, we may contact you using the details provided at checkout.

User content and intellectual property

If you tag Average Joe, submit a review, upload a photo, or send us content featuring our products, you allow us to repost, share or use that content for marketing unless you tell us not to.

All content on our website, including logos, designs, text, images, graphics, product names, layouts and branding, belongs to Average Joe or our licensors. You must not copy, reproduce, modify, sell, distribute or use our content without written permission.

Website use and third-party services

You must not use our website to break the law, upload malicious code, interfere with the website, scrape or copy content, impersonate someone else, attempt unauthorised access, or misuse discounts, checkout systems or promotions.

We may use third-party services for payments, website hosting, analytics, marketing, fulfilment, printing and delivery. We are not responsible for third-party websites or platforms that we do not control.

Liability, changes and law

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Average Joe is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or products. Nothing limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, unless another Australian state or territory is required by law.
